#Jaslexwedding: D-80

Today is April 5th, which means there are only 80 days left until #Jaslexwedding (Jason + Alex's wedding)!!

I can't believe we are getting closer and closer to D-day! I never thought about weird it would be when one of sisters gets married, and I still can't really imagine what it'll be like at the actual wedding. All of my friends that been curious about what it feels like, and I've always been quite unsure.

My sister has always been a role model for me. She was always there for me and she was never un-cool at anytime in her life:

If life gave her lemons, she used it for a lemon water detox.

As for now, I'm more excited about the plans before the wedding! While I haven't gone to the venue yet, I've seen pictures and I can already see it being drawn right in front of my eyes. I'm imagining a few things: strings of lights hanging above the wedding, neutral toned bridesmaid dresses, simplicity everywhere, and peonies.

That pretty much summarizes Alex's style for her wedding (or rather, my interpretation of her style).

She actually finally decided on her wedding dress (which I can't show or talk about because that's bad luck) and it is perfect!!!

We are actually going to this wedding exhibition this weekend just to get her into the bridal mood and seeing what else other people are going for. We try to shy away from conventional themes. But, it won't hurt to go take a look, right?

A quick stop at Cafe IMT before going to Kinko's to pick up some printed materials.
My fruit juice is a combination of two of favorite things: apples and kale.

Apples...I have always loved, ever since my family went to the apple farm in the fall to pick our own apples. And kale is something I recently started to love starting from about two years away. Anyone who knows anything about health have an obsession over kale. While I'm not a total health fanatic, consumption of kale here and there makes me feel a little more better about myself :)

A random cafe we went to after eating lunch. I loved the atmosphere here. Everybody was standing around, either waiting for their coffee order or chatting with their co-workers, wasting away time in order to avoid going back to the office.

As for me, I ordered the saigon coffee, which is just an espresso with condensed milk.

Keeping up with daily reading, because literature is pretty much yoga for the soul and mind.

Yummy Thai  at Itaewon.

There's nothing better than good food with good people.
We really killed that green curry, shrimp something and patsiu. It was sooooo good.

Restaurants at Itaewon can be a bit over-priced, but it's usually all worth it. I enjoyed every single bite of this meal...I need to go back soon!
